Wear resistant castings according to clients’ drawing is also available, such as grinding roller, grinding ring, wear liner, slurry pump parts y etc. The material detail is the following:

Material Code Hardness
(HRC)
Impact Toughness
(J/cm2)
Application
BMX23 ≥58 5-7 BMX23 provides excellent wear resistance to erosive or abrasive slurries with particles greater than 100μm in diameter. BMX23 can be used in mildly corrosive slurries, between a pH range of 5 to 12.
BMX25 ≥58 5-7 In general BMX25 is not as erosion resistant as BMX23. In the hardened condition, the fracture toughness is slightly less than BMX23, however this may be improved at the expense of reduced erosion resistance. BMX25 can be used in mildly corrosive slurries, between a pH range of 5 to 12.
BMX30 60-67 2-5 Alloy BMX30 can be utilised in erosive slurry conditions, providing the slurry is not acidic. BMX30 can effectively be used in the alumina industry, offering a significant life advantage over conventional erosion ressistant alloys. BMX30 can be used in neutral to alkaline slurries, between a pH range of 6 to 14.
BMX79 60-67 5-6 BMX79 is suitable for high wear duties, where corrosion is not severe. It should be used in applications where BMX23 and BMX30 do not provide an adequate wear life. BMX79 can be used in neutral to alkaline slurries, between a pH range of 6 to 14.
